    Guys,

Ok, I’ve been fishing a black rat on a body of water, and my buddy Carl was fishing brown and then changed to white -I’m about to answer my own question- have you seen colors while fishing slop really make a difference?

Sunny days when they’re way under, and not hitting holes as much but through the slop, I don’t really think so; during days of cloud cover, and they’re hitting via holes, I believe so.

    What do you think?

    Thanks ,

    Jeff,

Color all depends on the type of slop that you are fishing.
If you are fishing a complete mat of junk,(where the lure never really lands in water) color won’t matter, because the fish are hitting at vibration and movement, but if you are fishing Reeds/Pads/hydrilla, or any slop where fish can actually SEE the lure, it makes a difference.

My Partner was outfishing me 4-1 with a Grey Mouse last week(i had on black/yellow) When I made the switch, I started getting more hits.

I’ve seen it numerous other times where making the color switch in slop has worked.

Could be wrong, just my experiences.
