The river just keeps on climbing. Fishing for walleye with livebait rigs we caught some bass today on the bottom in about 9 feet of water. Anybody want to teach me how to Carolina Rig please. Yah suuure… Ive tried it, and caught fish doing it, but I need to spend some time with someone who is a lot more confident in the technique and it’s quirks so that I’m able to consistantly get the deeper fish especially in areas with some current. With current I just either tube with a heavier jig or T-rig with a heavier weight, but it sounds and appears from others results that C-rigging is much more productive in the depths and current.

Can you take a digital camera with you on your guide trips and post some pictures? Most of us enjoy seeing pictures…especially the 3 lbers!

    I appreciate you asking .

What I actually do is use a disposable, and give it to the customer when they leave,(with a deal that they will send me e-mail of fish which unfortunately almost never happens). If the fish are what I call a trophy you have seen it here. I usually don’t post run of the mill type fish anymore, but if it makes the site better I can start. I did for a while and didn’t get very good feedback!!! I’m not buying a 4th digital until someone can show me how to keep from ruining them. In all three cases it was apparently condensation not getting rain wet. Photo finishing guy says that it happens a lot. The transition from hot to cold and back seems to cause an inevitable problem???

Thanks again for your interest guys Ecnook has also asked me to start adding some pictures to benefit the site. I did break down tonight and buy another inexpensive digital. Someone should probably take pictures Wednesday night at Ace tourney and at MP Memorial next year(although as I remember I did post a picture of the 4.2#er), but ofcource this years results as reported are available for public veiwing. And I do keep a complete calender of all guide trips and names. I hope no one will mind in the future when I do have the time to post if they can’t recognize the location they are caught.

Walgreens now has a deal where they will take your throw away and get regular pics developed, along w/a CD that has your *.jpg pics on it. From there all you have to do is upload them.
