I am still waiting for water temps to get “fishy” I am curious if anyone is getting any smallies or Largemouth yet. I have to make a 3hour drive so if you can save me a trip I would be greatful. Thanks.

Water temp still hasn’t reached 40 yet. Maybe it will this weekend. With colder water coming down from up north, I would venture to guess it will be a good two to three weeks before the bass bite is anything to speak of.

Our bass club has a tourny on pool ten in July. Just wondering if any of you guys could give some ideas or starting points so I am not lost out there. Thanks.

We have been catching quite a few largies on pool 6. All coming on slow moving thunder sticks on 4 foot flats with slight weed cover.

You like the thinder sticks too huh. I like them fine but you might alternate with a husky jerk and 3 second pauses. After you give it a thorough workout let me know how sore your thumbs are. -grin-

    C’mon,

I’d love to hear what you are giving up to someone off line.

    Pool 10.

I will say that you will catch a quality limit in the Greymore and Ambrows areas. State line always had a sleeper spot that can hold a tourney winner, Harpers would be where I start looking.

Fish are all over that pool, look at your strengths and base your decision on that. If it were for good $$ I would share my time 60/40 with the lansing pool.
