Anyone fish this tourney?
Boat counts, weights, any info?

I checked the website and it’s not updated yet…i’ll post it if i see it updated. I’m curious as well to see how they did.

Took 17something both days. Saturday Bob and Tom you know who won it in you know where. Only 21 boats Sunday. 15 lbs didn’t get a check. Sunday was won just down river from you know where.

Did 2rivers (you know who) go to (you know where)? I’m assuming so, according to that last post. Maybe 2rivers (you know who) should have fished better in (you know where)?

We moved this tournament to Lansing Pool 9, because of the high water and the no wake zone in effect for La Crosse, for this tournament. Winning first place Tom & Bob Howland, from Riceville and Cedar Falls, IA, weighed in 5 fish for 17-35 Lbs winning $880.00, including both big bass’s. They fished black/blue jigs flippin in about 2 feet of water around sloughs in pool 9. Tom is 50 and works for the railroad. Bob is 52 and is a factory worker. 2nd place winners Kent Rusnak and Terry Campbell, from Tomah and Warrens, WI, caught their fish on black senko’s, flippin bedding fish in sloughs in pool 9 in about 3 feet of water. They weighed in 5 fish for 15035 Lbs winning $240.00. Kent is 40 and is a plumber. Terry is 52 and is a material coordinator. Edgewater Marine and Castle Rock Lake sponsor them. 3rd place winners Mike Running and Jeff Heidemann, from Tomah, WI, weighed in 5 fish for 14-01 Lbs. 12 boats weighed in 49 fish for 123-68 Lbs. 8-5 fish limits. Water level 11-5, water temp 72-74, weather overcast, temp 70’s. 14 teams.

Yep, I know who and I know where. If we were all fishing that tourney we would have been playing bumper boats most of the day. That area almost always has the best limit this time of year. There is one other place I know that is holding 3-4lb fish right now but I am not a BWS kinda guy.
