I just noticed on midwestbasstournaments.com that the first weekend of the Illinois 8 man competitions at Alton has been cancelled due to high water. Have there been any other changes yet such as bfl or team supreme?
i dont see bfl or team supreme cancling i know the river up there is alot better then whats even down here on 18 and 19
what i was told is at alton you cant go 50 foot in the channel with out a 40 foot tree being in the way
what i dont understand is there not giving us a date to replace the first weekend they said it depends on if they get the second weekend in.
i also dont understand why they dont just move it to a diffrent lake because i know if i have to miss a club points tourney for the 8 man i wont miss my club tourney also the partner i talked to says he fishes 3 circuts so he doubts he will be able to make it on a diffrent weekend either
i wish theyd just move it and get it over with they allready had to move the boat ramp they chose now if they have the second weekend there going out of grafton
Its a mess down here . Our Club switched the tourny this weekend to a lake and will come back to the river in 2 weeks with the DNR blessing . Not worth running the guantlet of junk for the money we fish for.
