Although this was pretty much a multi-species day for me I did get five nice keepers,(opps just counted 6). Only two came from the same place. In my general discussion post I didn’t give much detail. I also forgot one lure… The groups of fish were so spread out on 8 and 9 this last couple days…opposite of what I would expect in high water,(I usually find larger concentrations in general areas), that I will give a big sigh of relief when the first keeper,(Championship points),at whichever of the BWS tourneys,(if any), we fish this weekend. Although if past experience works out, they will show up in concentrations soon. Anyway here is yesterday’s report.
Anyway the fish were in three different areas(one of which was the same bay). First in the bay I caught fish on the bay side of a point 1 SM,1 LM(both brown tube)…then at the very back of the bay I had caught a nice LM on a spinnerbait. In community hole I managed one large LM on a Taylor Tackle firetiger deep diving square bill. I also had a large fish on on a black/red Tube. It was either a bass or a sheephead.. Then out on a rock hump in the current I managed 2keepers the one being a kicker…Again on TT deepdiving squarebill.
