Anybody have any fishing reports from pool 13 or 14? The next BFL is heading there on June 5th, and I’ll spend 3 or 4 days pre-fishing. I’m not real familiar with 14, and was wondering if it was even worth while to fish. Last year BFL, all the weights came out of 13. Any info would be great. Thanks.

Your probably going to have to wait a few days for any type of report that will help for the BFL. We’re not flooding but experiencing the highest levels of the year. It’ll probably come down very quickly and create very different conditions. Don’t overlook 14 completly, there are times when some good fish come out of there. I’ve even known guys that have locked down when the pressure on 13 is too great. To be safe though, learn 13, there have been some good weights this year and most of the time the winners come from that pool. Again, I’m not sure how long this high water will be around and what effect it will have on weed growth etc. Fishing has been great in a few limited spots but you’ll have to keep close tabs on the water levels.

    BassinAl –
Just a quick update for you – The water is still high but is backing up very nicely in the common backwater areas. Color and level is great. There were tons of fish caught on 13 this weekend. Pool 14 very high. Probably wouldn’t waste alot of time there. There will be some very nice stringers for the BFL.
