Well second was the best I could do again at Ace Wednesday night Bass/Walleye tourney. Smallmouth 3#s straight up(green/sparkle/motoroily/K-grub). My average went way up last night though with around 16.5# for my 6 biggest and a second bag of 6 at about 14#s and another 6 weighing about 12#s. Easily the one of the best 4.5 hours I have had this year for one person. First bunch came in a flurry just as the storm was rolling in including the biggest and then the second spurt of about 25 keepers from 7:30 – 8:30. Almost every cast. Walleye guide customers,(walleye fishing was awful), grabbed around twenty quick Bass today topping out again right at 3#s, we also got a nice channel cat and a 12# northern. I just can’t get up in that 18-22# Bag weight it looks like it will take to win either the BFL or Team Supreme so I guess I will skip both. I really have a big hole in the Bucketmouth part of the program right now. None of the 4.5 -5 #ers are getting in my way like last year.

I wouldn’t be complaining if I were you bud! I think if you would of had a three pound average in the BFL anytime anywhere you will stand a good chance to win. Second place…..I would love to be in second place in a tourney on the river. Writing an article on this webpage about how you couldn’t win and only get second place on this website or any other website will not get you anywhere. Sorry to be bitter but you got to look at the positive in this situation rather than the negative. Next post try to include some usefull information for the rest of us as well.

Actually I did have better than a 3# average Sat. Sorry we never got together to talk about teaming up for the tourney thing. Wife decided to actually do it this year.
