Going to go after smallies for a couple of days, tues and wednesday to be exact. I have caught some fish on cranks and tubes on the upper end of pool 4 but not in huge numbers. Just wondering if anyone has been in to good numbers of them on the lake in the past few days? Not looking for spots just a general overview of the lake bite.

I have been seeking them out, on pools 5a and 6 for a few days as well. Found only scattered, but consistant, numbers along the usual areas such as rip rap and current breaks using mostly tubes and spinner baits. The large numbers have escaped me as well. Have found the largies to be in the same areas in greater numbers and size.

you know a man’s got to experiment alittle, get out of the normal habits, GO for all gusto. hope you find them. wish I had some info to share with you, but have not been down at all lately. do NOT forget your camera. I am expecting BIG things (smallies) from you. Jack.
