His another photo sent out to us by Don Weaver, this time the pic shows Don himself with a dandy pool 10 smallmouth bass he caught on a day that just screams “fish’n weather!”

Thanks a bunch for sharing this photo with us all Don. Keep em’ coming.

If anyone else has a photo or two they’d like to share with us here at FTR, simply send the photo out as a .jpg attachment in an e-mail to [email protected] and we’ll gladly get that posted here just as quickly as we can.

    Good fishin’,

This picture just makes you want to get out and pitch those ringworms James and Chris were talking about at the seminar. Really nice fish. Thanks

Boy that picture make my blood start to burn. It’s just about time. My first tournament is in 5 weeks and 4 days… Hard to believe it now, but the bass have to start biting between now and then.

Bill, those Ringies really shine on the St. Croix rocks for smallies and walleyes. You never know what you are going to get. I remember posts I made last year about casting these things right ONTO the rocks, and eyes and smallies nailing them…

Thanks Chris, I sure plan on using them on the rocks this year. Keep hearing too many good reports about it to not do it. And Hawger has great prices on ringworms and superdos so everyone can get in on using them. Just click on the ring worm banner and place an order. Just as simple as that to put walleyes in YOUR boat this year.

jedsall, are you referring to Denny’s tourney in Iowa? Or something else? I’ve been counting the days as well. It really is hard to believe all this ice will disappear and the bite will be on by then. This weather just doesn’t want to let go of us. loomy

Our bass club is hosting the Great River Open Bass Tournament, Pools 4,5,5a. On April 28th. The flyers are just coming out now, I will post the info on the tournament Forum this weekend. I changed IP’s and am re-doing our club website. I wanted the entry form available on the website before I posted. Check back by Sunday for all the details.
