Second place tonight

    Oh well I had the second place bass at the weekly Ace Hardware Bass and Walleye tourney tonight. 3# 5oz Largemouth and either tied for third or got fourth with a 3# smallmouth,(only one counts). We fish from 4-8pm on our choice of 8 or 9. The bite was about the same tonight. My 6 fish bag weight for 6 fish went up though 14# 5oz. Not bad for 4 hours I guess. Sometime yesterday I noticed that the crayfish brown Mizmo was getting picked up and dropped and I changed to Black with red specks and got almost all of the 15 or so Bass I caught tonight on it. Biggest bass were on rocks on pool 9. Very shallow.

    Good job on the second place finish. I wish I could have been in town. I was on big fish. It’s funny too that the last two years I won the first tourney of the year on the same spot. Oh well not this year. I look forward to seeing you at the wiegh ins. Who and what won last night?
