Anyboby fished Balsam Lake in Polk County yet? If so, any luck? I’m going to fish on Saturday. I know there’s a toutnament going on, but I’m gonna give it a try anyway. Haven’t been on there in a long time, last time, my mom was still baiting my hook.

balsam is good now just make sure you are in shallow bays and find wood or wood or both, main lake temps are still a bit chilly
Last year at about this time, I was able to fish it a couple of times. We did real well with topwaters in stump bay. We caught fish all day. (bass) I know that people were making long cast with a floating worm, and saw a couple of people throwing wacky worms. It should be a fun day, and those bays get crowded on tourney days.
