Was out with my son tonight on lake Pepin had some luck with the Bass. Caught around 18 smallmouth and largemouth in about 4 hours. Not alot for size but had a blast. Got into a top water bite for about 45 minutes. Throwing an x-rap popper. Nothing like the top water bite. My son also had a first. Caught his first dog fish, what a treat that was.Not. All in all a good night on the lake with my son. Did notice an algae bloom going on. Was out Sunday and didn’t see it then.Water temps 88-89 degrees, that’s warm.
