I was wondering how many in-depth subscribers here fish the BFL? I was a co-angler last year, and decided to take on the challenge of boater this year. But if I see any of you guys at LaCrosse in May, I’ll be sure to say hi. Im not from the western part of the state, but I really enjoy this site. Take care, and good luck to all.

This will be my first year fishing the BFL as a non-boater. I have fished a club in the Chicago area as well as the Illinois Federation the last 2 years. I can’t wait to get out on LaCrosse in a few weeks. I’m 18 and will be wearing a camo hat. If you see me stop by and say hi. I would like to put some faces to the names I see here everyday. Good luck and thanks for a great site.

I’ll be fishing both LaCrosse tournaments and the Prairie one. I don’t have a confirmation on the first LaCrosse on yet though

This will be my third season fishing the BFL. I am still looking for a boater for garaunteed status. Any boaters out there?

I believe the priority deadline (for guarantee status) is today, April 27, 2004 for the first BFL tourney in LaCrosse.
Drop-shot, I’ll keep an ear open for a boater, but it sounds like jhall is willing to work with you. Let me know if your still looking.

I’d also be willing to go as a co-angler. PM me and we can atleast discuss it.

Are there any non-boaters looking to sign up for the entire year? Non-baoter cost is $450 for 5 tourneys. Boater cost is $900 for 5 tourneys. If you go to a BFL meeting, (always the Friday night before the tourney 7:30) you can always find a boater or non-boater looking to pair up with someone for guarantee status. Im still looking for someone I know, for those of you still looking.

Initially I was getting ready to fish the La X BFL; now I’m not so sure.

I’m leaving at the end of June, and I thought that my time & $ would be better spent fishing locally & in VA -as that’s where I’m moving to; so I’m not sure yet.

    Thanks ,

I am set for the first two but I am looking for a boater for the last three. Bassin Al, I will sign up for them all if you are still looking.

drop-shot, I’am allready signed up for the entire year, along with my non-boater. When we are at the meetings, the director will ask everyone to raise their hand if they want a guarentee partner, and in most cases, there will be 10-12 boaters, and non-boaters that will be interested. So, if your allready in for the first two, I would wait until the Friday night meeting, and find a boater with his hand raised.
