I don’t want to send him out for bass and have him come back with catfish. 
Best places i have found for bass on Pepin are the backwaters around the start of the lake. Otherwise I would imagine creeks running into Pepin would hold some nice fish around the mouths right about now 
rockpile daymarkers, and fast current breaks on shoreline points and what not
Marinas hold bass year round
Look for grass beds around Stockholm and south all the way to the narrow where river starts again and throw frogs, buzz baits, and swim jigs for largemouth.

Get a hold of Luke….his dad now lives near lake Pepin and I think he was just fishing up this way this past weekend.
