    Well,

I was going to take the boat out after work, but Mr. Moron here didn’t disconnect his batteries b4 leaving for FL, so I came home to dead batteries and no boat. NO WORRIES though, as i’ve fished from shore alot during my day. BC and I headed off to some check out a few of our old shore spots.

Things started off well for us. We got into a few LMB. Nothing really of size. But the action was solid. I got 1 mid size pike. The real prize of our day was the 2 Smallies that we each caught. Two Dandies 3+ lb’ers. We were fishing a rock/sandy shore and just slow rolling white/chartr. spinners on it. Anyone who knows pool 8 well knows where we are by the pics.

Lots of things to be noticed from today’s outing.

    1. We saw lots of Bass chasing minnows/Shad. Not the large group activity, but we would see ind. bass chasing minnows in the shallows.

    2. Lots of BASS jumping today. Clear out of the water. Good size fish too. easily recognizable.

    Here’s Me w/a Dink LMB:

    Damn you’re cool!

We caught both of those smallies early (meaning late afternoon), the bite seemed to slow down towards dusk, minus the tadpole BASS caught by Slop at the end!

I can’t quite make out that spot SLOP. I only fish Pool 8 a few times a year. Can you fill me in as where that spot is? If you don’t want to give it away, I understand.

    Thanks,

    Slop,

Ok, ok… Easy on the pics… We have unfriendlys (Spring Fling contestents watchin’ ).

    Hey, those puppies are great!

Didn’t disconnect the batteries, hey? I like to put the boat in, fish a while and then pull it back to put the drain plug in. The way I figure it is that the internal hull needs to be cleaned now & then.

Thanks for the pics , ,

Slop, I won’t SPILL the beans, but I’m guessing some people are WAY off the mark.
