Just Thinking…

First off I must congratulate Dave Lefebre for getting second place in the All American. Next, I really wonder… why is he even fishing the BFL if he’s a FLW pro? What’s more, why are any FLW pros fishing the BFL, or the Everstart for that matter?

Here’s the way it kinda fits in my brain pan.

Does Barry Bonds go & play in AA or AAA ball? No.

I’ve come to believe that if a guy is fishing at the pro level, then that’s the level in which he needs to remain.

    What are you thoughts?

    Thanks ,

It’s all $$$$ and you take it where you can get it. It’s no different than Dale Earnhardt Jr racing in the Busch series.

    Mama’s gota eat.

If you fish for a living and thats it, then you gotta fish. Successful business men that I know didnt get where they are today by working only 40 hours a week. Same goes for guys in the trades, you dont become rich by picking and choosing your jobs, you take em all.

Dont get me wrong, I see what your saying. I just don’t think somone is going to come along and say ” OK, thats enough. Your too good to fish the BFL.”

I agree, plus when he qualified for the all-american who would have guessed he would have a win and a 3rd in the FLW just weeks prior to the all-american. He earned his way there just like anybody and made some good cash along the way. I would guess since he is “more established” on flw he might not have as much time to fish bfl in the next years, but maybe he fishes the circuit in the summer after flw has wrapped up.

Bassbaron does have a point. So, I’ll concede that, but I do believe that if you’re fishin’ the FLW, then fish the FLW.

I Don’t agree with fishing the BFL or EverStart to simply make the $, but if FLW Outdoors is going to continue to allow it, then I’d like to suggest that they also allow anyone to fish the EverStart & FLW tours without qualification.

    Thanks ,
