Looking for Bluefleck and/or locals to the Brownsville area. I will be coming up fishing the Miss next weekend (April 20,21 & 22). With the warm spring everything must be weeks ahead of last year. Would appreciate any info you can provide such as water levels, species on the bite and what they’re biting on. How’s the crappie/bass fishing in Lawrence Lake? River stage is as low as I’ve EVER seen it during the spring in the La Crosse area. Today the stage is at 4.93. That’s summer flow levels.
I haven’t been out fishing much at all, but my Dad did pretty well on the crappies a few days ago. He found them in a spawning bay looking for some Bluegills.
Good luck with your fishing adventure. Be mindful of the low water….it’ll be real easy to beach a boat or ruin a prop on a wingdam.
