Spent most of my afternoon yesterday putzing around on pool 2 trying to find some smallies. I fished everything from deep rip-rap to sand points and even a couple wingdams.
Fom what everybody has been posting it seems like these fish have all moved into backwaters to warm up, get food and get….
I am not sure if anyone is familiar with this pool but I caught NOTHING in 4 hours!! I know this pools has some fish in it. What could I be doing wrong? Where kind of structure do smallies seek when looking to warm up? Would there be any advantage to fishing the bottom of the pool vs. the top?
Water temp was 46 degrees.
