Through-the-Gill hook removal video

    I have been doing that for a long time. I’m not a fan of leaving a hook in the fish. I have caught lots of walleyes with hooks still in the thoat. In fact, 7 this year already on Mille Lacs. A long pliers works great for this type of removal.
