LMBV fish kill Pool 6

    A friend of mine reported to the DNR a fish kill of hundreds of largemouth in a small backwater hole on Pool six. DNR attributes it to LMBV.

    Kind of odd seeing that LMBV is typically a non-factor until water temps are in the upper 70’s….Wonder if they actually tested for it scientifically or just guessed that LMBV was what it was.

    Don’t know, good question. I wonder if the virus makes LgBass more susceptible to low oxygen levels during the winter?
