Summer is coming right around the corner and if your anything like me your ready to see some open water. I fish both walleye and bass and have used sufix 832 line for my walleye jig and crank rods but I was looking into putting it on some casting reels for shallow water jigging some largies. I have had 20-30lb power pro in the past which has done ok but really like the suffix on my other rods. Just looking for some feedback from others that have used it on how they liked it or what would be a better option.

I prefer Sufix over PP in that it seems to be a little smoother and screeches the guides less. Direct tie braid to jig is okay in stained water, otherwise I tie a 5 foot leader of fluorocarbon on with a Modified Albright or Uni-uni knot in clear water.

I have a friend that uses sunline. Have your heard anything about that? Pros or cons
