I am a big fan of both musky stoker glide baits and California bass style gliders. For those of you who haven’t seen bass gliders, they generally have a single joint in the middle and have a gliding action on a straight retrieve that resembles an S. You can give them a huge amount of action, killing the bait mid retrieve will make it shoot out to one side and sit sideways, or you can twitch it to give it a super erratic action. I started throwing them in my pike fisheries this fall to test them out and had some great days throwing the river2sea s-waver 168. Had multiple fish in the 35-39” range in pressured water. You can use them in the same situations you would use a glide bait or jerkbait if you fish them slow, or you can get really aggressive with them when the fish are feeding well. Has anyone else played with these? I think they could be kinda the next big thing in the musky industry if people start to use them more
