Got out on my favorite East Metro Bass lake this morning. This is the first time I’ve been out there in three weeks and I wasn’t sure what to expect. I’ve never seen the water this high; the dock is up on shore some where, and there’s really no place to leave your boat after you get it off the trailer. Bring a piece of rope to tie it to the bushes and wear hippers or high rubber boots to wade around in. And the Sheriff has posted a No Wake restriction until further notice, making the lake nice and calm and quiet this morning.

The unsettled weather and post spawn conditions have slowed the fishing down. I never found more than one or two fish at any on spot. It paid to keep on moving. Water temp was 74.8 and it was darned windy even at 4AM. The fish in the picture was the best one of the day, fell to a Dahlberg Diver in 8 feet of water next to a bed of coontail.

    Good morning James!

On the first attempt, there wasn’t any error message or indication of any problem. The file size was 446K, well under the limit. When i saw that it didn’t appear, I hit the “edit” link. The text was still there but the forum information wasn’t so I added that, and then browsed to the file again and hit the publish button. That time it worked. I did the same thing both times; the difference was the second time I was editing the post. Hope that helps!

This is great info! Obviously there’s a bug there somewhere. We’ve got a lost of testing and tweaking to do over the next couple weeks to get everything back to par. Thanks for your help!

Nice bass. I am enjoying the no wake out there as well. I fished with the kids Friday and was happy to only see a few rigs in the lot. I live a little over a mile away, but most Friday evenings the lot is full and I can’t launch there. Not sure why they pulled the dock completely out of there. A young fella caught an 18 incher from shore that evening. Proving you don’t always need a boat to catch big fish.
