Went out this past weekend on the float tube to target some Bluegill and Largemouth Bass. I wound up fishing some vertical structure for the entirety of my time there (4 hours) and had some good success.
Used several different weight sizes of mushroom heads for the Ned rig. From 1/8oz to 1/20oz, with a 3″ craw softplastic and two different patterns of the rattlin ned from googan baits. I also caught one on a 1/4oz shakey head with a 5 1/2 inch worm. I also tried throwing some moving baits of various sizes and patterns but didn’t have any success with that.
After it reached about 12:30, it got REALLY toasty and I got out of there and sat inside the rest of the day. Hope you guys enjoy the video if you get time!
