Is it ice locked or is it open

Its not fishable from ice and I don’t think launching is likely right now.

There was some chatter elsewhere on Bass camp and the ice. Comments there suggested strongly that the ice was not safe yet for even foot traffic, especially around the wingdams. I gathered that it also meant that the launch was iced over enough to make launching a boat a chore.

The city ramp in Alma may be open yet since the guys on that powerline job have been using it all along.

I know this is a little late and things will most likely change by the end of the week but I did drive by and noticed that the landing just below the Winona Dam was open and there were a handful of boats out Sunday around noon. I could not see across the river with the fog on my way back but I did not notice any cars in the parking area about 3:30pm.
