Have a few weeks yet but will need to divy up the season tickets. Moved down a section and went with the 20 game this year. Despite the losses the last few seasons it’s always nice to bail out of work at 11am for an afternoon game.

Hope to tag team some time with Wild Hockey playoffs as well.

Although I don’t get very excited about MLB games, I am looking forward to watching our local Northwoods league team play. Between that and mens league softball I get my fill. Plus we have a mens hockey league most of the summer.

Although I don’t know what to expect this year I’m ready for Bob Ucker and the Brewers

As I am this time every year, the answer is yes I am excited for baseball. I am thoroughly disappointed in how the Twins organization has been run since they got their new stadium, but I think there’s a lot to be excited about this year. I’m not saying they’re going to win any more than 70-75 games, but the combination of Ervin Santana, Hughes, Danny Santana, Dozier, Suzuki, and Vargas, plus hopefully seeing Sano and Buxton sooner rather than later is enough to make their team progress very interesting. Throw in some new flavors with all-time great Paul Molitor and this should be fun to watch for true baseball fans.

As always it will come down to not killing the bullpen early in the season. If the starting pitching holds up and Nolasco bounces back it should be fun. Time for Hicks to prove he belongs otherwise he has to go. I’d much rather see Shafer out there if Hicks can’t hit.

Don’t think we will see either Sano or Buxton this season but you never know.

Hey Dutch, how much will Tori contribute? On the field that is. His presence in the clubhouse should be good.

Anybody that gets Arcia out of right will be a improvement. I hope Torii can do .270, 15 HR & 80 RBI.

In my mind the offense needs a run producer. Mauer just can’t or won’t pull the ball enough to hit in a RBI slot IMO. Whats the big guys name Varga, Vargus ? anyway he has the pop to hit 5 and I would hit Torii 4 because he should see some fastballs there.

    Santana ss
    Dozier 2b
    Mauer 1b
    Hunter rf
    Varga dh
    Plouffe 3b
    Arcia lf
    Suzuki c
    Hicks / Shafer cf

Flopping Dozier and Mauer might work out better also. Dozier needs to see fastballs where ever he hits.

My opinion for what it’s worth. grin

I should also add I’m not a Plouffe fan. He needs to step up or else move him. Twins can’t keep Plouffe only to keep 3rd. base warm until Sano gets here. He has to produce & that doesn’t include looking at called third strikes every game. If he could hit .260 with 20 homeruns and less then 100 strikeouts I would be OK with him. But he hasn’t shown me that he can do that. BTW, if he could do that he would be a 80 – 90 RBI guy!

Many holes to fill yet and some people need to step up.
