Banned

Was wondering about eel pout yesterday. Did he get banned? His photo is gone but his name isn’t blacked out like the others.

So did you get your original question answered? I would say it depends on the size of your truck, if you need equipment or not… 🤷‍♂️

I personally have no issues with Dutchboy’s posting.

No didn’t really get a clear answer before I was found guilty.

One guy suggested a bunch of 20 somethings could tip it by hand. I dunno, I was thinking a bulldozer might be overkill.

That’s funny, I was thinking about him too. Then last night I went back through some way old posts of mine and responses and noticed a few others that must’ve been banned. And we all know philtikleson was blacklisted a few months ago.

I haven’t been on Walleye Central for ~15 years. I didn’t think it was still going.

I think biggill got the boot. If i recall he disagreed with James disclosing his love for trump. Not sure if he got the boot or voluntarily left

Problem is, problem children have run off all the guides, pro fisherman, tournament guys and the regular Joe’s that had made WC what it was. It’s kinda sad what it’s become. But, there are still a decent bunch of guys sprinkled in with the clowns. I mostly like it over there.

Yes, they ran them off, of that i’m sure. I watched it happen to several guys.

Dutch, At least they gave you a reason. After the MN walleye opener I posted a picture of my boat damage. I got a few comments. When I went to the site the next morning I was greeted with a similar message, I was banned however the next statement, Date the ban will be lifted: Never. I logged out and looked back at my post and the moderator had edited my post with the picture of the bottom of my Ranger and removed it. I get the fact that they are a private site and can basically do what they want however I was dumbfounded by getting banned, as like you I have engaged in some sarcastic posts earlier, however this post was pretty innocent, at least I thought. After a couple of weeks I was able to contact someone at corporate who confirmed my account was still active. After a few nice emails I was reinstated but still remain clueless to my actions. I am glad to be back on WC as I have met some interesting friends, I won’t say who but being a Charter member since 1999, 21 years I agree with the observation that their audience is getting old and I am not sure what they are going to do to get a more dynamic forum that has more than us crusty old guys and REW! I have 2 quick links and IDO is one of them. Certainly IDO seems to be more tolerant of it’s members, is that a good thing, well it’s tough to remain viable if you keep banning your source of product. Hope to see you soon! Maybe I should pick you up on my way to Mille Lacs and we can solve all the worlds problems………..starting with Evinrude!

Mods on this site get pretty soft at times too. Sure is funny how rough they let most of these political posts and frequent personal shots get but I’ve posted some very harmless jokes about the DNR and a persons best fishing spot that have gotten immediately deleted.

Thankfully they haven’t booted me off for my Twins threads smack talk… yet
