Banking in wheel house with no snow

Looking for suggestions on banking in my wheel house with no snow. I have been thinking about getting a skirt made that maybe snaps into place. In the past we have drilled holes 3/4 of the way through the ice and used the shavings but that is a slow painstaking process. Are there any products out there that address this issue?

Set the house down on pool noodles.

Do not use pool noodles, they will freeze in and be nearly impossible to get out without leaving a significant portion littered on the lake. Hole sleeves or a skirt would be the best option imo.

I always use hole sleeves in the slush from drilling the holes, but even with an insulated floor, it’s nice to bank, I normally set the house dorm in 4x4s, but if there is little or no snow, just a 2×4 and scratch up what you can, I don’t necessarily bother banking unless it’s very windy or single digits.

hole sleeves hands down…the catch covers are spendy up front, but well worth it at the end of the day IMO. Saves a ton of money on propane
