    What’s the deal with FSN changing names? Did Fox sell off their sports channels?

    What’s the deal with FSN changing names? Did Fox sell off their sports channels?

    They were forced to as not to become a monopoly is what I read. So Sinclair bought something like 15 or 18 local sports networks and sold the naming rights to them.

    Gambling is big money now for the leagues and the venues that broadcast them. The term the fix is in will become relevant again. jester

    That’s weird. I would not have even considered them close to a monopoly with NBC, ESPN. Okay.

    I believe The Disney recently purchased Fox and that made it trigger the monopoly police which made them sell the Fox Sports networks.
