Has anyone ever shot over at the Bald Eagle Sportsmen’s Association range or Forest Lake Sportsmen’s Club? I was thinking of sending a few rounds down range this weekend or next.

    Thanks

I was way off on what I thought this thread was about. I was going to respond that 300 yards should be within range blush

Forest lake has a hunting site in coming in the fall, it is like $10 a gun. But I do not think you can use the range unless your a member other wise.

I’ve shot at Bald Eagle Sportsman’s Club. Good facility with short pistol ranges, 50yd range, and 100yd range. They also have shotgun and bow options going on there.

Range fees seem fine ($10 for 1st gun, ~5 for a second firearm). They staff with club members. Some of the fellas running the line can be a bit prickly, but I tend not to mind when firearms are involved.

I tend to like them as they do quite a bit of facilitation for hunter’s safety courses and also some of the highschool trap shooting teams practice there. That sort of community outreach is really valuable.

Bald Eagle is fine. Also consider Hudson Gun Club.

I second this! And you can have a beer after!
They have 50, 100 & 200 yards to shoot. It gets busy as the season approaches.

Yes, these places descent into madness in October. I avoid “sight in” days at all costs.
