So my 17 WX 2060 has the bow bait well. What bait bucket will work in that thing? My dads ZV21 came with a bait bucket that sits perfect in the hole.

Is there one to use for this or do you guys just toss your bait in it without a bucket?

Real tourney guys use plastic. You can’t get sponsored by minnows but you can by Berkley lol

With the tight Velcro top on the bait tamer it is hard to reach in especially with 1 hand so a solid plastic bucket would be nice or a bait tamer type bag with a larger opening that might fit around the ring of the live well portion for the bait. Any ideas Dean? I have a MX 1825 I bought from SBC and have tried a few plastic ones that do not seem to fit like I want or sit too high for the lid to close like it should. Any good ideas might save me spending more cash to try one out but hey somebody has to stimulate the economy somehow.

I use a gal bait tamer most of the time in the big livewell or else an engel cooler if I want more then 3 doz large minnows in the boat. That front is a pain unless want to have a big minnow scoop along.

I use that front bait well for a cooler\dry storage. Just remember to turn off the inlet so if you mistakenly hit the switch it doesn’t fill the area.

I think frabill or plano makes a bucket that fits it but not sure of the brand. I bought one that fits it when i bought the boat. My mx1875 is at the cabin and i won’t be there for 2 or 3 weeks. Will check when I get there.

Now this is funny! One thing I don’t do is sponsorship or pro staff for tackle companies. I can’t be dedicated to just one. I use everyones stuff.

I think I will have to try the Bait Tamer you guys speak of.

Thanks to all and much appreciated!

Quite frankly, the buckets while a good idea suck. They sit too high to completely immerse the bait.

I do tie a string to my bait tamer to keep in the corner upright, and also when using 2 of them one in each corner to id which one has the top secret bait and one for just minnows.
