Same. I have long said that I would prefer to have a million dollars after taxes and all my debt was paid off. That is enough to retire on, live off interest and be lowkey enough that people arent kidnapping my kids for ransom LOL
Finally worth winning, those couple hundred million drawings are hardly worth the effort! 
I hardly ever play, but I kinda get a kick out of everyone and there brother running out to buy tickets when it gets crazy high. I get it to a point but your odds are better when it is lower and the casual player is not in.
With my luck there would be ten winners when I won.
I don’t know if $40 million would be worth it.
Actually, the odds of winning are always the same, but your chances of splitting it are higher the more people play.
My favorite saying for the lottery is: “The Powerball is retirement planning for people that are bad at math.”
But, I won’t say I’ve never bought a ticket … it’s rare, but I still get sucked in once in a while when the numbers get crazy big. I can’t be bothered with only a few million… 
With the odds at 1 in 292 Million, if it gets to 600 million lets start a drive to buy every combination. 
Probably need Sharon to fill out the tickets though. The rest of us cannot be trusted.

I enjoy tossing my hat in the ring at the office when the numbers get high…..it lets a guy dream and play the “If I won” game. A couple of dollars occasionally for that is worth the entertainment.
