Bacon Alert

Just had bacon from Hagbergs in Lake Elmo for the first time last night. Impressed. Apple wood and double smoked.
At $10/lb its more like boutique bacon but wow do they nail it. A worthy treat to try.

Had it years ago when a “favorite bacon” post came up. Love the double smoked. But it’s a treat for sure.

I normally get bacon pieces.

Billy does it right at Hagbergs. Been going there for over about 30 years. I love the meat cut thick like they do for ribeye and the ragnar, makes it so tasty.

They make a good sandwich if your ever passing thru at lunch also..
Great bacon! I’d put it right up with nueskes stuff. Incredible when baked and not pan fried

I used to buy sandwiches there all the time. Been going there for 30 years myself. I still miss the old setup. New interior throws me when I walk in but it certainly is nice. They make our favorite meat stick so I swing by occasionally just for that. Jalepeno cheese.

You need to try cottage bacon. It’s like taking ham and bacon and smashing it together.
