Backwater walleyes in the fall?

    Did pretty well for walleyes in a shallow Mississippi R. backwater this spring, I like the lake because it can be good for a lot of stuff besides Walter-anyway do Walleyes use these backwaters in the fall too? I have no idea——-Thanks

    It’s relative-

    If most of it is 1-5 fow, but there’s a smaller portion that’s 8, it could be a good spot.

    Also more variables come into play like forage, current, proximity to main channel, among other things.

    But for sure there is only one way to really find out!
