backup camera

I am looking at the new Peak 4.3 or the 7″ model backup camera for my truck. Has anybody used or seen these model in action. Like I said I’m just looking for now. Wish I would of got one on the truck from the factory. 2013 chevy.

I have the Peak unit. I mounted it on the back of our 5th wheel trailer so I could watch the boat when we triple tow. Works well for not too much invested. We have the factory installed camera on our Equinox. I’ll bet it is one of those options that will soon be standard issue like a radio, AC or power steering

I’ve been using a portable back up camera called rampage back up camera it’s wireless and uses a your smart phone as the monitor. It has it’s at own wifi and app. Picked it up at Cabelas.

It won’t be a standard issue, it is federally mandated that all vehicles have them by 2018.
