Back channel law enforcement presence

Rumor has it there was a multiple law enforcement at the back channel launch Saturday . Police sheriff and fire department. Any info what happened ?

Someone from Goodhue county was missing.

I can confirm that. There was a sheriff boat launching at 2:15 with three guys in the boat, and I saw another sheriff show up as I was pulling out. On the other side of the back channel bridge there was a police car sitting there too.

I didn’t hear a bit of news yesterday and am assuming he’s still missing.

There is a missing person. Possibly looking for this person.

We need your help finding Brad Nagel! He was last heard from on Wednesday November 15th at 11:45 pm. It is currently our belief that he was in the Diamond Bluff/ Hager City area. Brad was last seen driving a 2005 Black Chevy Colorado with a Minnesota license Plate # DLB 549.

Wondered what was going on, saw a sheriff’s boat ripping through the no wake zone at full speed in the afternoon.

Last seen driving a truck and they are scouring the water? Obviously they are withholding details that could help with his recovery.

THought the same thing.

The truck has been found, but Brad has not as of the last GHC Update.

They are withholding info, but I’m going to guess they know what they’re doing and doing it for a reason.

Where was the truck found ? Seems like no one knows.

They had “missing man” signs all across the dike road this morning.

Was the truck pulled from the water? I’ve heard conflicting information.

Yes, the truck was pulled from the WI Back Channel on Sunday.

Yesterday (Monday) the landing was closed off again for (what I assume) were more divers. The LEO’s wouldn’t let anyone in the parking area. This time the emergency lights were not flashing.

Anything ever come of this or is the guy still missing ?

Sounds like he was found on his own property dead.

Brad was such a great man and the 1,000’s of kids and adults he mentored and taught about the great outdoors will be a legacy of his for a long long time. RIP Brad! You are missed!!

Seems a bit suspicious that his truck was recovered at a different location than where he was found.

Seems very strange. Lots of missing pieces to that story. Very sad deal either way

That is really odd. How far from where his truck was to where he was found?

Sad. The struggle is one most people will never have to battle.

Speculating does no good. At some point a official announcement will be made.

Thoughts and prayers to the family. It seems these things are doubly bad when they happen near the Holidays.
