Took my 2 year old to the pheasant game farm today. It was an unbelievable experience for him, an awesome experience for me.

It was his first experience with firearms and dead game. He loved it. I couldn’t have been prouder or happier. Of course he’s got to have his own weapon to feel like Mr. Big Time and fit in.

That’s awesome! It looks like he’s got the part down real well toting that gun around! You’ll be hunting bud’s for life. It’s been quite awhile since my son’s first pheasant hunting trip (7 years ago I believe), but I was able to dig up some old photo’s of the occassion. Last night we had our first bow hunting trip together. Spending time in the woods and fields with your kid is so darn much fun. Time goes fast though, so don’t forget to soak in every minute of it.

Awesome pictures! I love seeing stuff like this. Puts a smile on my face and makes me glad that these traditions and values ares still be passed down to younger generations.
