    Food a large spiny soft shell laying eggs on the shoulder of the road today. What a cool looking turtle

    I move every turtle off the road that I see. I hate seeing them crushed in the road. A turtles 2 biggest enemies are road stripes and gutters.

    Very cool.

    Last weekend, my BIL had laid out the canopy from his boat lift to scrub it before he put it on. First, my dog peed on it, then, this snapper crawled up to check it out. She was an onery SOB when I relocated her. rotflol

    It looks bigger in the photo than it was. It was probably only 10-12″ across.

    We had a visitor in the yard last weekend too. A couple hours after the pic she laid her eggs in the backyard

    dang crazy the size of that head and all the moss on the shell makes it look like a 30 lber.

    Yup I would have moved her but, she was laying eggs on a seldom used road. She was on the very edge of the road. I gps’ed the location and plan to check on it throughout the summer.
