Finally had the opportunity to try out the auto chart live feature! Spent around an hour the other day on a structure that I have fishing in the past. The contour lines the helix created was pretty impressive. Not sure how much use it will get in the future but worked well.
It sure is handy when you need it!
it’s a great feature, now if they could only figure out their 2d sonar issues….
I really enjoy the bottom hardness mapping that is created with Auto-charting contour lines. I’ve been out in my boat mapping my ice fishing spots just for ice fishing to set up on those hard/soft transitions.

100% agree. 2D is very frustrating.
