Got an email on this. You can join online and share your AutoChart live data with the community. Kinda cool. I know this discussion came up when we were talking about the zero lines card. I’m not surprised. Humminbird found a way to get lake contours for free.

It could be a good resource to share labor. Of course the quality of the maps is not guaranteed like anything open source. Most will be good but some guys will have a bad water offset setting or false readings(2x, 3x, etc depth false data points)

I thought this would happen a second after hearing about autochart live.
I don’t have autochart live. Would I be able to enjoy some of this information?

I got in on the beta before it came out and it worked pretty slick. Even got a free zero line card for doing the beta!

I hope people actually share useful data on this! There wasn’t many guys in the Midwest on the beta so data was limited. It worked pretty dang easy though!

It works well imo. Not much mapping around me and I’d love to see it catch on. I fish an unmapped Canadian lake and have shared mapping with a couple guys but we have a long way to go to really get details on 12,000 acres. I know guys don’t want to give up secret spots and I get that. The thing is, we all know that two humps that look similar to us on a map can look totally different to the fish or be productive in one weather pattern and not another. And the only way to find the *spot on a spot* is to be there and fish it yourself.
