    Hey guys,

For those of you who use the AuthentX Paddle Tails, what seems to be the most popular colors? Looking to pick some up, curious what colors folks have had success with.

    Thanks!

    I think you’re referring to the Pulse-R?

I need to have white in everything. That’s a must have.

Pink/white, yellow/orange core, and some kind of natural color.

Yes, Pulse R. Sorry, forgot there are 2 models of paddle tails. Thanks -)

Don’t overlook the paddletail too. It sinks a quite a bit faster and has a smaller profile. I’ve done really well on this on Opener as well.

Get one of each…..they all work in different conditions. My go to is chartreuse orange core. The oyster/firecracker colors always seem to produce too.

My go to is purple with a chart tail.. I could live 3 colors. black, white and a purple/char tail. Don’t know if they sell black though. Wish they did. Pro Blue is the next best thing to black in my opinion.

Second BK, Pro Blue. Plus anything with Chartreuse in it.

Buschman, I believe they brought black back for this year in the AuthentX line.

Kyle just do yourself a favor and buy all the colors in Pulse-R and Moxi. I mean you don’t have to do it all at first, but really if you don’t you are just delaying the inevitable. And full disclosure I used to be anti-plastics.

Also, preference on 2.45″ or 3.25″? Or doesn’t matter?

I use them on all types of jigs, the only thing is I try and only use long shank jigs. Short shanks I’m sure would work, just seems to leave a large portion of the plastic without a hook in it.

I like the larger sizes and would agree with BigWerm on the jig heads….match the size to the condition and make sure they are long shank. VMC mooneye are good, the Bfishn jigheads work well but anything will do. If they are smashing plastics I don’t think the jig matters as much.

The Fab 5, I like that:) I would agree, those are probably my most used colors. I like to have a motor oil in there somewhere as well as Tequilla Sunrise, that color has landed me a lot of nice smallies and walleyes this year down here in Iowa. Best of luck!
