August 9th Canada

Well I among many are looking forward to my Canadian fishing trips. Not sure if it will happen on the reopening on the 9th. Just talked to Sanford Health where I go and they said because of the surge they will not promise any results on a 72 hr covid test results. Also we day trip by boat from Mn into Ontario via daily remote crossing calls on the phone, no one knows if that will be allowed, including the resorts. I would be surprised if the Canadians do not pull the plug, but remain hopeful, first trip for me not planned till second week of September, anybody else know anything about this?

My good friends are planning to arrive at the border at midnight Aug 9th. Way too much hassle and risk of not crossing smoothly for me so I opted out.

I’m going to Oak Island and staying in MN waters instead.

We go to Oak also, sportsmans, the boat trip from the south shore is not so bad IF, AND THATS A BIG IF WIND😁

I know. We will be watching wind closely!
