Auger spin issue

    I have a Eskimo 33. Anyone know what kind of gear drive grease to replace with. Mine is so thick that it won’t spin. Is there something newer out then what they were used to years ago? Some thing synthetic possibly?

    Not sure what Eskimo was using but I’m sure that any light weight synthetic grease would be fine, I used Amzoil artic grease for my strikemaster lazer which maybe overkill but I had it on hand so thats what I used.
