Auger Ice Guard?

    These subzero temps can freeze up an auger pretty quick. I was watching Gillespie this morning and noticed something on the auger blade. What is this? A hole cover? Excuse the photo quality. I snapped it from TV screen.

    You mean the disc on the blade? That’s the standard chipper blade on a Jiffy.
