I “cleaned” my 81/4 inch chipper blade up on a fine diamond stone. It took a little time, but it cuts way better than it did prior. Some stores sell “sharpened” blades. They are cheaper than new, but in my experience, don’t seem to last as long as new. When trying to do things on the cheap, sometimes you end up with what you paid for…less quality for less money. Sometimes you get a good deal on a product that works as advertised.

There is a guy in Ely that does them for $14 a set. Forget his name but someone will know who he is. Or Google it

You might look into Franc DeLuca dear duluth. He does Nills blades, he may do others?

I just bought a work sharp to sharpen my jiffy stx blades haven’t tried them since I’ve sharpened them, they seem sharp as new or sharper, there $95 dollars for new so I took the plunge for the work sharp.

How does Red Rock do on the Lazer blades? Or don’t they sharpen those?

That’s good to know. It works well for me. Easy to take along for on ice touch up.

I bought “reconditioned/resharpened blades” for my LazerPro last Sunday from a WI bait shop. They are plenty sharp, but the angle is wrong and they don’t cut at all. This is the second time this has happened to me… I have brand new blades on the way now from FishUSA. I won’t bother anymore with getting resharpened blades.
