    Ben what type of equipment do you guys use to record the audio for your show? Always sounds great!

    I’m the gear guy at IDO so I can likely best answer. We use Sennheiser wireless transmitters and receivers. Sennheiser EW 112 G3

    We’ve upgraded the lav mics but the stock units are ok too. Then to get the most out of our audio quality the editors do a custom eq before export.

    You can easily spend more on wireless mics but in my opinion the Sennheiser mics are the best of the best for what we do. They’re built like tanks… I have several G2 units that have been with me / us since we started the show and they’re still going strong. They look like HECK, but the audio still sounds mint.
