Polaris Sportsman 4wd issue

    Posting for a friend who has a 2008 Sportsman 500 that is having a 4wd problem. The 4wd quit working for no reason. The front axle doesn’t engage at all. Anyone had this issue with their Polaris?

    fixed one a while back…there is a “magnet” that went bad on a buddies…fairly easy fix…the new parts were cheap too…if the magnet isn’t working when you put engage the 4×4 you won’t hear a click with the tires off and your ear close…could be a fuse…or something else..

    Hmmm, I asked him about the fuses, said they seemed OK, but notice the High Beam quit working on the headlight too??? Connected?

    same exact problem my grandpa had with his polaris. the magnet fell out and then the wheels wouldnt engage. also check the connection too!
