Recently I aquired another quad after bouncing some ideas off you guys. I have been riding about every weekend lately and continue to be more and more impressed with my decision. As many of you know I got an 08 Kawi Brute Force. The two things that really stick out for me is reduced size and power. These Kawi’s are slightly smaller than most ATV’s. Because of that they seem nimble and easy to maneuver. The power from the 750 V-twin is nothing short of addicting. Once you get used to it there’s no going back. I swapped bikes with my wife this weekend on the trail and my old AC 500 felt like a lawn mower and I’m not kidding. After a mile I tried to get the Kawi back and my wife wouldnt give it up. Her addiction was immediate.
So far so good. If I had to say anything critical about this ATV it would be the noises. These bikes make more noise than anything I have ever ridden. Axle whine, belt whine, it seems like every moving part is loud. I’m getting used to it and it almost seems cool BUT sound means wear so we’ll see. All that remains to be seen is longevity and reliability.

So, are you changing your handle to “Kawasaki?”

That sounds too much like a Pro Angler.

but I only have one. If engine ownership determined my handle it would be Ryobi!!

I see you have some aftermarket goodies. I highly recommend the EHS mudder lid to eliminate known water injestion problem and eliminate most bad dust intake. That is the only thing I have done to mine.

yea i just installed some 26″ maxxis zillas and a hmf pipe. that airbox cover looks cool but if you keep the air filter clean and oiled properly you shouldnt have any dust problems. as for water, i never really go in that deep of water with it
