I have a 06′ X2 and have been thinking about making it a ice fishing machine! I don’t have a sled yet so I gotta make due. At this point I have an Otter Shield to mount on the box, tire chains and a windshield. Any ideas or even picture would help a lot! My rack system is not tube framing so this make it more interesting when setting up an ice machine… 
I too, have on ’06 Polaris X2, and plan to make it my ice fishing machine as well. I’ll be interested to hear what you come up with. I have a Polaris winch and brushguard on the front, and a front Polaris rack. My thoughts had been to carry my auger on the front in a tube rack, and possibly put on a set of Polaris tracks. The BigFoot look good too but I’m leaning towards the Polaris brand. I already have the hitch system for my Clam shacks but may decide to invent a tandem system so I could pull two of them at once. Shouldn’t be too hard.. 
Where did you run across your hitch? I need one for my Otter.
